Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Project Manager to join a newly established product team supporting Enterprise Services Management and risk organizations. You will connect strategy to execution, establish effective ways of working, and ensure leaders and teams have the information, processes, and support to succeed.

You will translate complex information into clear recommendations, work with senior leaders, and help create a collaborative, connected team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Process Management, Business Operations, Strategy, or related experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading cross-functional projects, programs, or strategic initiatives.
• MBA, Public Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in PM/OP/Strategy or related experience (preferred).
• Experience working with senior leaders and developing executive-level communications.
• Experience establishing new processes or operating rhythms in dynamic environments.
• Experience working across Product, Risk, Technology, or other cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and operating rhythms.
• Coordinate enterprise and regulatory reporting, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Develop concise, decision-oriented updates for senior leaders.
• Partner with leaders to anticipate needs and drive effective solutions.
• Build relationships across Enterprise Services Management, Risk, and partner organizations.
• Develop clear internal communications connecting priorities to actions.
• Help establish practices and forums that foster a connected, high-performing culture.
• Evaluate processes and design new tools and approaches to simplify work.
