Job summary

Planet Group is seeking a Project Manager in Atlanta to drive cross-functional initiatives across teams, business functions, and external partners. You will lead planning, execution, governance, and closeout while maintaining accurate schedules and documentation.

The role emphasizes proactive risk management, clear communications, and vendor coordination. A strong background in agile and waterfall delivery is expected, with hands-on use of enterprise tooling and AI-enabled planning.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of project coordination or project management experience.
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams/functions.
Ability to build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead project initiatives across activities, deliverables, stakeholders, and dependencies.
Define objectives, scope, milestones, and success criteria.
Maintain project routines, documentation, and decision records.
Coordinate with business, technology, security, legal, and external partners.
Track estimates, timelines, risks, and inputs from team members.
Prepare status updates, dashboards, RAID logs, and leadership materials.
Identify gaps and blockers; drive mitigation and escalation as needed.
Support governance forums and decision-making meetings.
