Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Plant Procurement Manager to ensure the supply of direct materials powering our Personal Care portfolio. You will lead cost mitigation, risk management and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to keep production agile and within budget.

The role requires 8+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing, strong data analysis, and experience with RFIs/RFPs, SAP, and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in running RFIs and RFPs with strong data analysis skills.
• Expertise in material strategies and cost models with understanding of commodity impacts.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP systems and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead local negotiations for raw and packaging materials.
• Manage suppliers, materials, and procurement processes to meet performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proactive risk management strategies.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and packaging layouts per division goals.
• Oversee budget preparation and utilize market insights for procurement decisions.
