Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Sector - PDCA division is seeking a Plant Operations Manager for Low Voltage Assembly, onsite at Arden facility in Asheville, NC. You will lead safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery, directing all Customer Order Manufacturing operations for the Low Voltage Assemblies line.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional leadership, and optimization of production schedules, inventory control, and capital and people resources to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management/technology, or business-related field from an accredited institution.
• Ten (10) or more years of strategic manufacturing and operations experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Must be willing to relocate to Asheville (Arden) NC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish operations strategic direction for product line considering key business drivers such as customer satisfaction, growth, profitability, and asset management.
• Develop action plans and cascade objectives throughout the workforce.
• Deploy safety programs to support a zero incident culture; monitor safety and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure documentation and system transactions meet customer, manufacturing, and financial reporting requirements.
• Plan and monitor key metrics to ensure quality, cost, delivery and safety targets are met.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements.
• Control in-process inventory to meet production needs with minimal inventory impact.
• Direct application of capital and people resources to maximize operating efficiency.
• Facilitate problem-solving and corrective actions for production issues.
• Monitor performance to objectives and implement tactical changes as needed.
• Foster teamwork and drive continuous improvement across the plant operations.
• Administer the Performance Management Process for the product line.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management/technology, or business-related field

Master’s degree in business or engineering (preferred)
