Job summary

Eaton in Arden, NC is hiring an MVCA Product Line Operations Manager to lead manufacturing, design and customer service for the Medium Voltage Control Assemblies product line. The role demands strategic direction, P&L accountability, and continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Relocation support is available for U.S. residents; salary ranges from $130,000 to $190,000 with a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management/technology, or business from an accredited institution.
• Seven (7) or more years of strategic manufacturing and operations experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Must be willing to relocate to Asheville (Arden) NC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish operations strategic direction for the MVCA product line considering Customer Satisfaction, Growth and Innovation, Profitability and Asset Management, Excellence through People and achieving sales forecasts.
• Develop action plans and objectives from the Product line strategic plan. Cascade objectives throughout entire workforce.
• Monitor performance to objectives, implementing responsive tactical changes as required.
• Promote continuous improvement utilizing CIF and ELSS methodologies to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and cost.
• Select and develop staff to manage the product line. Develop supervisors and PL team.
• Foster a relationship of teamwork throughout the operations of the plant.
• Administer the Performance Management Process for the product line and MVCA value stream.
• Deploy MESH Safety Program to support Zero Incident Culture.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements.
