Job summary

Potters Industries is seeking an Operations Lead to manage the direct melt furnace and associated manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes safe operation, environmental monitoring, and continuous improvement within a 12‑hour shift structure.

The position offers an hourly rate of $30.19, full-time permanent employment, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K, and PTO. Training is 8:00–15:00 initially, with a 12-hour night shift after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of forklift operations experience preferred.
• Experience with plant safety systems and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation of direct melt furnace and related processes.
• Monitor environmental and operational conditions and take corrective actions.
• Perform routine safety, environmental, and equipment inspections.
• Assist with furnace and minor system repairs and maintenance.
• Participate in safety and production meetings and ensure compliance with standards.
