Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 to 5 years of forklift operations experience preferred.
- Certified in forklift and front-end loader operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee safe operation of the direct melt furnace and related processes.
- Monitor environmental conditions and perform routine checks.
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits and Good Neighbor principles.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to complete scheduled maintenance on time.
- Attend production meetings to discuss safety, environmental concerns, quality and cost-saving opportunities.
