Job summary

Potters Industries is seeking an experiencedMulti-Skilled Maintenance Technician III to maintain and repair critical glass furnace equipment in a hands-on role. You will work on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, including VFDs, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; tech school degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation/electromechanical preferred.
Experience in industrial maintenance, metal fabrication, or electromechanical repairs (10-15 years).
Forklift operation experience/certification preferred (3-5 years).

Responsibilities

Operate and conduct maintenance processes safely per HSE regulations.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on glass furnace equipment.
Perform specialized fabrication tasks including welding and metal fabrication.
Repair and maintain glass furnace equipment such as Distributors, Forehearths, and Firebox areas.
Troubleshoot and replace VFDs and other critical plant components.
Complete regulatory inspections and maintain documentation.
Support safety, quality, and productivity initiatives plant-wide.
