Potters Industries in Palestine, TX is seeking an Operations Technician for the day shift to safely run furnace and grinding equipment and monitor production quality. The role includes basic testing, data recording, and housekeeping within a safety-focused environment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing, with forklift/front-end loader experience and proficiency in Outlook/Excel/Word/Access.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Able to work any day of the week.
• Medically cleared to wear a dust filtering respirator when needed.
• Forklift/front-end loader experience.
• Experience with Outlook/Excel/Word/Access.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate furnace and grinding equipment to meet quality & production goals.
• Safely operate plant vehicles forklifts and front-end loader in support of production activities.
• Perform basic analytical testing to confirm quality of material in processes.
• Interpret analytical data and adjust processes to maintain quality output.
• Monitor levels of product within process equipment and record data in computer database and logs.
• Housekeeping and basic maintenance of production area.
• Participate in Health, Safety and Environmental activities, monthly audits, investigations and Hazard IDs.
