Job summary

Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc seeks a Plant Buyer to join a global procurement team in Tempe, AZ. You will drive spend reductions, select suppliers, and use SAP/Coupa for requisitions, POs, and contracts.

Requirements include 2+ years as a buyer, basic SAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. Associates degree required; Bachelor’s preferred and APICS certification a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with cross-functional collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a buyer is required.
• Basic SAP knowledge is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; excellent Excel abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive reductions in purchased materials and services spend through supplier selection, negotiations, RFQs/RFPs, and contract negotiations.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, plant walks, and meetings.
• Operate in SAP and Coupa for requisitions, PO creation, and PO close.
• Coordinate contract reviews with plant personnel and legal; use Adobe Sign for approvals.
• Negotiate payment terms and lead cost-reduction projects; support KPI initiatives.
