Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a planning supervisor to lead our supply chain planning team. The role focuses on developing and implementing policies, forecasting demand, and optimizing material flow to meet external and internal needs.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating with sales and customer service, and driving improvements in planning accuracy, throughput and cost. A Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain and APICS or CPI certification are required, with 4–6 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 4-6 years of formal training or certification in APICS, Lean Manufacturing, Process Excellence and/or Six Sigma.
• Experience leading teams in cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously.
• APICS or CPI certification required.
• Proficiency with data analysis and forecasting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and motivate planning employees.
• Implement policies and procedures.
• Generate forecasting metrics for strategic accounts.
• Streamline procurement processes and support internal customer requirements.
• Monitor planning team scheduling and order processing.
• Perform data verification prior to submission to downstream teams.
• Communicate daily with sales and customer service regarding customer needs.
• Drive efficiencies, develop strategies and influence key metrics.
• Apply manufacturing planning knowledge to create factory production plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
