Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a planning supervisor to lead our supply chain planning team. The role focuses on developing and implementing policies, forecasting demand, and optimizing material flow to meet external and internal needs.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating with sales and customer service, and driving improvements in planning accuracy, throughput and cost. A Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain and APICS or CPI certification are required, with 4–6 years

• 4-6 years of formal training or certification in APICS, Lean Manufacturing, Process Excellence and/or Six Sigma.
• Experience leading teams in cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

• Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously.
• APICS or CPI certification required.
• Proficiency with data analysis and forecasting techniques.

The planning supervisor will assist in managingemployees performing supply chain activities along with developing andimplementing policies and procedures and setting operational goals. Actively monitoring and ensuring operationalschedules are managed and maintained along with managing incoming supply ofoutsourced product is essential to daily tasks. This role requires advanced forecasting demand generation and allocationexperience. The supervisor role should be able to lead, guide and motivate the team to drive service excellencebehaviors.

Wage $0 - $80,000

EssentialFunctions

• Monitor planning team scheduling and orderprocessing.

• Drive efficiencies, develop strategies and influence performance results on key metrics
• Apply manufacturing planning knowledge to create factory production plans to optimize both desired supply and factory operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain or related field.

Work Experience

4-6 years of formal training or certification in APICS, Lean Manufacturing, Process Excellence and or Six Sigma.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, Webex, TIMS a plus, Samplemanager, CRM
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, AdobeAcrobat, and data entry systems.
• Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously.
• Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and process compliance.
• Able to follow established procedures and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
• Must be Supply Chain Management certified through APICS or a Certified Professional in Supply Management
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle.
• 5+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
• Performing Advanced Modeling utilizing Excel for forecasting demand and allocating finished good supply and components, including scenario-based planning.
