Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible relevant experience in budgeting, project tracking, contract management, and public engagement.
• Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of Alaska.
• Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) courses: IS 100 and IS 700 within 90 days of hire.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepares disbursement requests, processes invoices for payment, handles financial agreements and reimbursement claims.
• Participates in budget preparation and monitoring; updates internal project tracking data.
• Assists with administrative tasks such as creating, editing, and distributing correspondence and materials.
• Acts as Records Coordinator, managing division files and records per Borough Records Management Program.
• Attends and facilitates meetings, may serve as Parliamentarian for Borough boards and commissions.
• Develops planning studies and reports to support new or updated plans, programs, and regulations.
