Daimler Truck North America’s Indianapolis RDC offers a leadership role overseeing office and warehouse operations to ensure safety, service, and efficiency. You will drive performance, manage inventory and customer issues, and coordinate with corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in managing a logistics operation OR 8 years in lieu of degree.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Proven ability in strategic planning and project management.
• Resume is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all indirect and support functions within the Indianapolis RDC, including office and warehouse supervision, as senior leadership in the Site Manager's absence.
• Oversee RDC safety and security programs, vendor management, and equipment/facility maintenance.
• Manage warehouse layout, space utilization, and slotting for efficiency.
• Oversee all inventory control and customer service activities, including credits and claims.
• Serve as point of contact for inspections and audits by federal, state, local, and corporate bodies.
• Engage in tactical and strategic planning to maximize operational efficiencies.
• Super User for SAP, DView and other RDC systems.
• Support safety culture through OSHA compliance training and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain KPI trends at the RDC level; lead injury investigations with corrective actions.
• Implement ergonomic initiatives and safety/health programs.
