Daimler Truck North America’s Indianapolis RDC seeks a senior logistics leader to direct operations, safety, and continuous improvement. You will oversee warehouse and office oversight, ensuring performance across safety, service, quality, and productivity

Lead strategic initiatives, manage vendor relations, and drive KPI trends while coordinating with corporate teams; relocation to Whitestown, IN may apply as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5 years of logistics management experience, or 8 years in lieu of degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic planning and project management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications; resume required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct indirect and support functions within the Indianapolis RDC, serving as senior leadership in absence of Site Manager.
• Oversee RDC safety and security programs, vendor management, and equipment/facility maintenance.
• Manage warehouse layout, space utilization, and slotting for efficiency.
• Oversee inventory control and customer service activities including credits and claims.
• Point of contact for federal, state, local and corporate inspections and audits.
• Engage in tactical and strategic planning to maximize operational efficiency.
• Act as Super User for SAP, DView and other RDC systems.
• Provide safety training and health program guidance; analyze safety metrics and drive improvements.
