Job summary
Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations in Inflammation Research to partner with the VP Research and leadership team. You will translate TA strategy into priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes, accelerating delivery of transformative medicines.
You will implement governance, analytics, and AI-enabled initiatives, develop dashboards, and lead cross-functional programs.
Qualifications
- Doctorate/advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience in biotech/pharma management, strategy, or operations.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Partner with VP Research and Inflammation Leadership Team to define, execute, and track TA strategy, goals, and operating mechanisms.
- Develop portfolio dashboards, KPI metrics, risk assessments, and reporting tools.
- Lead technology, AI-enabled initiatives, and capability development to strengthen research strategy and portfolio execution.
- Coordinate budgeting, headcount planning, and scenario analyses with Finance, HR, and TA leadership.
- Drive leadership team effectiveness, cadence, and cross-functional alignment across the Inflammation TA.
- Prepare executive presentations, governance materials, and strategic communications.
