Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a strategic business operations leader to own planning rhythms, drive cross-functional alignment, and translate high-level strategy into actionable plans. You will build scalable reporting, model scenarios, and partner with Finance, Recruiting, TPM, Data Management, and CSG to keep planning honest and on track.

The role requires strong analytical instincts, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to present insights to senior executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, strategy & ops, FP&A, or analytical field
• Background in investment banking, management consulting, or startup environment preferred
• Advanced analytical and data modeling skills
• Detail-oriented and process-driven, able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and drive consensus
• Comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-cutting mechanics
• Experience building/scaling operational processes, reporting infrastructure, or planning motions from scratch
• Experience in SaaS or high-growth tech environment
• Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, SQL)

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive business planning cycles (quarterly/annual) and translate strategy into actionable plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Program manages complex operational initiatives across cross-functional teams
• Lead forward-planning and scenario modeling for capacity, resourcing, and budgets
• Build scalable reporting infrastructure and dashboards for executive reviews
• Own headcount planning, variance tracking, and cross-functional alignment with Finance and Recruiting
• Partner with Finance, TPM, Data Management, and other teams to align inputs
• Identify gaps in planning processes and drive end-to-end resolution
