Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or business or ten years planning leadership experience.
• Strong root cause problem solving and analytical skills (DMAIC) with sustainable improvements.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic/tactical direction to the Planning team aligned with site objectives.
• Direct production planning, materials, capacity, and scheduling requirements to meet AOP goals.
• Use sales forecasts to drive inventory levels via forecasting and SIOP.
• Develop PFEP and inventory strategies to minimize stock and optimize material flow.
• Lead KPI focus on OTD, inventory, and obsolescence; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with sales/commercial to maintain market lead times and capacity.
• Maintain planning BOMs in ERP; analyze data to support operations decisions.
• Foster employee development, engagement, inclusion, and a safe work environment.
