Job summary

Optimas OE Solutions in Wood Dale, Illinois is seeking a Planning Manager to lead inventory planning and order management. You will own MRP/MPS execution and coordinate a Planning Specialist team to ensure sales order accuracy and timely supply plans.

This role partners with Purchasing, Inside Sales, Warehouse, Engineering, and Production to align demand and supply. The position requires deep ERP/MRP knowledge, leadership experience, and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planning Specialist team, setting priorities and coaching for scalable operations.
• Own MRP/MPS parameters to maintain accurate supply plans at job and operation level.
• Oversee sales order accuracy, pricing, lead times, and quantities; resolve escalations.
• Chair daily expedite meetings and approve expedite, deferral, and cancellations.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Inside Sales, Warehouse, Engineering, and Production on new parts and demand-supply planning.
• Partner with IT and Materials leadership to improve ERP/MRP processes and reporting.
• Develop and track KPIs for schedule adherence, order accuracy, and fill rate.
