Job summary

Lincoln Industries in Wisconsin is seeking a Planning and Logistics Manager to oversee materials planning, production scheduling, and procurement to meet customer demand.

You will lead direct reports, maintain MRP data, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize costs and service levels.

This salaried exempt role requires strong analytical and communication skills and may involve handling hazardous materials and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 1 year materials management experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years materials management experience; or equivalent in MRP, capacity planning, inventory and purchasing.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of general ledger relationships to invoices and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and release orders to manufacturing and packaging to meet due dates.
• Schedule and release purchased components from approved vendors.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to support operations.
• Manage warehouse operations including inbound/outbound shipments.
• Interface with customers on delivery, planning communications and issues.
• Coordinate with production management to ensure smooth flow of materials.
• Maintain accurate MRP data and production control metrics.
• Monitor shipment status and shortages for follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with safety, waste disposal and environmental policies.
