Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development Strategic Planning to lead the Instruments Division’s annual strategic planning, set the vision for Strat Planning, and manage deliverables to drive long-term growth. The role combines strategic facilitation with data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

You will partner with division leaders, assess trade-offs, and track KPI progress while mentoring analytical professionals and coordinating external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience.
• Demonstrated strong presentation skills and executive communication capabilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence business leaders across varying levels of experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems using strategic frameworks and data to identify opportunities.
• Source, model, and interpret data from internal and external sources into actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Develop and evaluate strategic options through research, benchmarking, and stakeholder interviews.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to communicate recommendations and build alignment.
• Assess financial implications of strategic recommendations within a complex P&L context.
• Drive strategy implementation and accountability by establishing tracking processes, scorecards, and metrics.
• Lead the annual strategic planning process, coordinating timelines, frameworks, and contributors.
• Lead and develop people and external partners, including mentoring analytical professionals and managing consultants.
