Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Planning Manager responsible for leading the Planning organization and owning planning processes across programs. You will guide resource allocation, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and drive continuous improvement to ensure on-time delivery and optimal performance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality while maintaining data integrity and ERP governance.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Associate’s degree or CPIM preferred.
Six+ years manufacturing experience required.
Three+ years EPICOR ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

Leads Planning organization, prioritizing workload and resources across Program and Value Stream Planning.
Develops and mentors Planning team through performance management and training.
Owns and improves Planning processes and standards for consistency and accountability.
Acts as functional owner for EPICOR ERP to ensure data integrity and optimization.
Oversees production and program planning to meet schedules and material requirements.
Leads capacity planning and identifies bottlenecks with Operations and Manufacturing.
Monitors metrics and implements corrective actions to improve performance.
Provides cross-functional leadership to align planning with business objectives.
