Job summary

Karman Space & Defense seeks a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end planning, procurement, and production control for high-velocity aerospace programs. You will align procurement, planning, logistics, and production with capacity and customer requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement, KPI tracking, and cross-functional coordination with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years in supply chain, manufacturing, production planning, operations, or related disciplines; aerospace or complex manufacturing preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing multiple functional teams.
• Strong understanding of MRP, ERP, production planning, procurement, inventory management, capacity planning, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Leads Supply Chain, Planning, and Production Control teams; sets priorities and allocates resources.
• Develops and executes supply chain strategies integrating procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, capacity, and customer requirements.
• Oversees production planning and control for scheduling, material availability, and on-time delivery.
• Leads procurement and supplier management, including sourcing and supplier performance reviews.
• Manages inventory, logistics, warehousing, and material flow.
• Establishes and monitors KPIs for supply chain and suppliers; drives performance.
• Identifies and mitigates supply chain and production risks (shortages, lead times, constraints).
• Drives continuous improvement; optimizes ERP/MRP processes and inventory strategies.
