Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience; typically 13+ years and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, and people skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated people-leadership experience, including coaching and developing talent.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strategic thinking and problem solving; able to structure ambiguous issues and develop pragmatic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead NAPD's annual and long-range strategic planning processes connecting direction, priorities, financial objectives, and execution.
• Partner with senior leaders to frame questions, clarify choices, and align near-term with long-term goals.
• Integrate plans across portfolios, identify dependencies, and elevate issues for executive alignment.
• Establish planning frameworks and deliverables to improve decision quality and speed.
• Translate long-term direction into actionable priorities, milestones, and governance.
• Coach and develop a high-performing strategy team and build cross-functional relationships.
