You will coordinate with Bowman teams, assist with client pre‑development and legislative efforts, and represent clients at meetings to advance project goals. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication with public and private stakeholders, with opportunities to grow our national impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Five+ years of planning or related experience in land development/public policy.
• AICP or ALA certification and licensed professional preferred; proficiency with planning/engineering tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS software (ArcGIS).
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license and pass motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct planning projects with staff oversight and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Bowman staff to support project planning and engineering work.
• Market Bowman capabilities to establish new clients and strengthen relationships.
• Represent clients at councils, boards, and governmental meetings; grow Bowman’s national influence.
