Job summary

The City of St. Peters seeks a knowledgeable planning professional to support planning, zoning, development, and economic development activities throughout the community.

This role provides technical and organizational support for development projects, interprets regulations, and coordinates reviews with developers, businesses, residents, and partners. Normal shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning or related field and two years of applicable experience.
• Experience interpreting zoning and subdivision regulations.
• Experience coordinating reviews with developers and city staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide zoning information and guidance related to permits and zoning matters.
• Review plats, site plans, and elevations for compliance with City requirements.
• Coordinate development petitions, annexation, and related actions with developers and city staff.
• Prepare research, maps, and presentations for Planning and Zoning Commission and other boards.
