Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC, part of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Planning Analyst to support Distribution and Production by managing inventory to meet budgets and service levels. You will collaborate with planning and operations teams to analyze data, generate insights, and help develop effective planning strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects as part of a large work team.
• Assist division management or project team with long-range and short-range planning to improve performance and forecast accuracy.
• Regularly work with confidential data and manage goods, tools, equipment, and software.
• Develop purchasing and inventory plans; align with capacity and budget objectives.
• Expedite and monitor production orders through the supply chain to satisfy service demands.
• Issue purchasing requisitions for the assigned product category.
• Follow up on shortages and provide in-stock arrival dates.
• Authorize and assign inventory rehandles as needed.
• Track vendor shipments for projections and manage import product development.
