Job summary

The Division of Water within the State of Delaware is seeking a planning professional to support multiple programs and initiatives under Executive Order 18, focusing on permitting reform, process improvement, transparency, and customer service. The role collaborates with federal/state agencies and the regulated community.

The position emphasizes LEAN methodologies, programmatic support, and the ability to communicate deliverables and track progress metrics across responsibilities and projects.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, collecting data, analyzing and presenting results of complex planning projects.
• Experience as a project manager on a less complex project.
• Ability to coordinate planning activities across multiple levels and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess data, problems, and issues and their impact on programs, plans or the current environment.
• Define and evaluate alternative uses of resources and anticipated costs/benefits.
• Develop, promote and market strategies for implementation of plans and programs.
• Coordinate planning activities across state, regional, county and local levels.
