Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Planned Giving Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the Planned Giving Team andExecutive Director. You will coordinate donor events, stewardship, and Prospect management, while preparing materials and managing records for estate gifts.

You’ll collaborate with trustees, attorneys and campus partners, ensuring donor intent is documented and fulfilled as part of University Advancement’s fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of office administrative support in a development setting.
• Experience planning all aspects of special events.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director of Planned Giving and team.
• Coordinate donor events, prospect management and stewardship activities.
• Prepare marketing materials and external relations documents.
• Manage records and database research for the Planned Giving team.
• Oversee estate administration tasks and track distributions with legal and campus partners.
• Liaise with trustees, executors, attorneys and family members on gifts.
