Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of natural gas pipeline facilities in the Hamburg Operating Area, including safety, budgeting and regulatory matters.

The role requires coordinating with emergency responders, supervising staff and contractors, and developing short and long-range operational plans. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and a minimum of 10 years in pipeline operations is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or Business Management.
• Minimum 10 years in pipeline system operations, maintenance and/or engineering.
• Valid state driver's license; satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stations, pipelines and personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations across NY and PA.
• Coordinate training, safety programs and emergency response.
• Manage contracts and outside contractors while protecting company property.
• Develop budgets and long-range plans for area operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DOT CFR192 and other laws.
