Job summary

KIPP Baltimore is seeking a senior leader to drive fundraising strategy and execution to meet philanthropic goals and multi-year capital campaign targets, ensuring long-term financial sustainability.

The role will build a major gifts and institutional giving pipeline, steward high-impact donors, and partner with the Executive Director on cultivation and stewardship. You will lead development operations, including Salesforce, prospect research, and grant reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 8–10 years of progressive leadership in development, advancement, education administration, nonprofit management, or public affairs.
• Proven record of securing and stewarding major gifts and institutional grants.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams and strategic planning processes.
• Exceptional communication skills and political acumen.
• Deep belief in educational equity and the mission of KIPP Baltimore.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution to meet philanthropic revenue goals and multi-year capital campaign targets, ensuring long-term financial sustainability for KIPP Baltimore.
• Develop and maintain a robust major gifts and institutional giving pipeline; personally cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-impact donors.
• Partner with the Executive Director to position senior leaders, board members, and campaign committee members for high-impact cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
• Oversee development operations, including gift processing, data management (Salesforce), prospect research, and grant reporting to ensure excellence and accountability in all fundraising activities.
• Represent KIPP Baltimore in civic, philanthropic, and community spaces to build and strengthen relationships that advance organizational visibility and mission impact.
