Job summary

Prisma Health's Upstate Pharmacy is seeking a procurement professional to secure stock, services and equipment at favorable terms under GPO contracts. Under a pharmacist's guidance, you will manage purchases, track orders, verify PO accuracy, and coordinate deliveries to support safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical care.

You will use inventory and 340B systems, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, contributing to optimal patient care and supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of pharmaceutical inventory control experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential desirable.
• Strong computer / data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure stock and non-stock products, services and equipment on favorable terms.
• Place purchase orders with approved suppliers or per GPO contracts.
• Track purchases and expediting orders; liaise between customer and supplier.
• Review medication and supply requests to ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
