Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic Personnel Recovery Operations Specialist to provide research, planning, and analytical support to USPACOM at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. The role emphasizes advisory input to the JPRC and PR branch chief on courses of action, theater PR plans, and readiness activities.

You will engage in exercise participation, contingency response, and watch standing, including non-duty hours, to ensure seamless PR operations across assigned forces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, or in lieu of degree, 10 years DoD experience.
• Knowledge of PR authorities, doctrine, and procedures including regulations and manuals.
• Experience developing and presenting briefings to senior leaders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Knowledge and use of AI tools (e.g. GPT, GenAI, Python).

Responsibilities

• Monitor PR architecture, posture, and mission tracking per PAC/JPRC SOPs.
• Operate via classified/unclassified cyber tools and maintain COP.
• Track theater PR assets and advise on evolving requirements.
• Contribute to theater PR plans, intelligence, and information operations.
• Support theater PR mission analysis development and updates.
• Coordinate PR execution tasks including recovery and reintegration.
• Engage with stakeholders across command and interagency.
• Prepare talking points and briefings for PR working groups.
