Job summary

The Baldwin Group in Destin, Florida is seeking an Advisor - Personal Lines to grow and service client accounts. This role focuses on selling and renewing policies while building strong relationships with clients, prospects, our service team, and carrier partners.

You will present proposals, explain coverages clearly, coordinate with partners, and pursue new business through community involvement, referrals, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Sells new accounts and renews existing accounts in line with firm and individual goals.
• Presents proposals, reviews coverages to ensure understanding.
• Communicates with clients, prospects, service team, and insurance company partners effectively.
• Finalizes the sale and collects necessary documents, briefs service team on the policy sale.
• Develops prospects through community involvement, seminars, networking, and referrals.
• Develops information and recommendations for prospective accounts and presents proposals in line with firm policies.
• Maintains accuracy, timeliness and high attention to detail when interacting with clients, firm, and partners.
• Keeps knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting criteria for firm partners.
• Positively represents the firm in the community and with our insurance company partners.
• Performs other functions as assigned and aims to meet monthly new business goals.
