Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a People Strategy Partner to join our People Strategy team in New York City. This role partners with departmental leaders to align their strategic outcomes with company objectives, ensuring roadmaps, processes, and talent pipelines are in place to achieve outcomes.

Based in our New York office with a hybrid schedule, you will influence senior leadership, coach managers, shape talent strategy, and drive organizational design and workforce planning across functions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years work experience in People/HR teams.
• 4+ years leadership-focused experience with talent management, org design and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist leaders with developing and maintaining departmental strategy and governance.
• Support leaders in driving talent strategy and management for their department.
• Provide timely input on regulatory and best-practice implications to internal stakeholders.
• Coach managers and teams on performance, coaching, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Influence senior leadership with themes and business needs.
• Offer strategic insight to enable leaders to anticipate future needs.
• Be a reliable thought partner across a broad set of issues and feedback loops.
• Foster a culture of trust with open, honest communication and values alignment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within People to develop new programming.
• Work with managers to maintain efficient organizational structures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
