Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a strategic People Business Partner with a client mindset and workforce strategy experience to advise business leaders and accelerate organizational growth in New York. This role partners with the People Team to shape programs and drive performance.

You will translate data into actionable plans, apply a product mindset to people solutions, and support large-scale transformation including organization design and change management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in people strategy, organizational development, talent management, or change management.
• Experience supporting workforce strategy, employee experience, product management, and transformation to solve talent challenges.
• Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with proficiency in HR systems/tools.
• Ability to apply a product mindset to scalable, user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to business leaders, co-creating workforce strategies aligned with business priorities, team objectives, and organizational goals.
• Represent the People Team as the single point of connection to key business stakeholders and Centers of Excellence.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Strategy, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Thrive Together and other enterprise partners to deliver integrated people programs.
• Influence senior leaders with data-driven insights and workforce analytics to guide talent decisions and workforce planning.
• Translate complex organizational challenges into actionable, data-supported plans and business narratives.
• Bring a product mindset to People initiatives—iterating solutions based on user feedback and data.
• Support large-scale transformation initiatives, including organizational design and change management.
• Monitor industry trends in people strategy to keep approaches current and competitive.
• Drive cultural evolution and change management to support organizational strategy and employee experience.
