Job summary

Gigs is hiring its first People Business Partner to define what People partnering means as we scale. You’ll partner with leaders to shape org design, talent strategy, and performance while building essential People infrastructure for growth.

This builder role combines strategy with execution, impacting how teams grow, evolve, and succeed at Gigs. You’ll work across design, competency development, onboarding, and programs, using AI and automation to streamline People work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR/People experience, including People Partner/HRBP in a high-growth tech company.
• Experience partnering with leaders and managers across functions and levels.
• Strong business acumen and curiosity about how businesses operate, grow, and win.
• Deep experience across organizational design, talent, performance, and coaching.
• Experience building or evolving career frameworks, leveling, or People processes.
• Excellent judgment, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• First-principles, builder mindset: create from scratch and roll up your sleeves.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in AI/automation for People work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to build exceptional teams and translate strategy into organization decisions.
• Coach managers on leadership, feedback, performance, and development.
• Lead talent reviews, promotions, succession, and retention initiatives.
• Navigate employee relations and organizational change with sound judgment.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to surface opportunities and risks.
• Design and evolve leveling, career frameworks, and performance programs.
