Job summary

Hudson Guild seeks a People and Organizational Manager to lead employee development, onboarding, and performance management, while aligning training programs with organizational goals.

The role partners with leadership to drive workforce analytics, retention strategies, and leadership coaching. Strong instructional design, data-driven decision making, and experience with BambooHR are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in employee training, professional development, learning and development, or related field.
• Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into strategic learning initiatives.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience assessing organizational training needs via data, surveys, interviews, and stakeholder feedback.
• Experience developing training materials and resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in interpreting workforce data.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; BambooHR preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Cantonese, French, or Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer semi-annual performance review processes through BambooHR to support employee performance and development.
• Monitor performance standards, outcomes, and workforce trends using analytics and reporting.
• Maintain and enhance performance management tools, job descriptions, evaluation processes, and competency frameworks.
• Use organizational data to identify needed skills and behaviors to meet strategic goals.
• Partner with managers to develop growth plans, coaching strategies, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Support employee retention, promotion, career development, and succession planning efforts.
• Assess organizational training needs through surveys and focus groups.
• Collaborate with Quality & Evaluation Team to analyze data and identify learning priorities.
• Translate findings into targeted professional development strategies aligned with goals.
• Develop annual learning priorities and onboarding, orientation, and leadership training.
• Design engaging learning experiences and maintain training materials and guides.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
• Stay current on trends in learning and development.
