Job summary

Johnson Outdoors Marine Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager focused on PCB assembly.

The role will design and implement electronic manufacturing systems at the Eufaula facility and oversee equipment, processes, and technology improvements for PCBAs. You will drive KPI-based manufacturing optimization, implement DFM and PFMEA, conduct process audits, and author SOPs and training materials.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Five years of progressive experience in electronic manufacturing systems.
• Extensive experience in PCBAs manufacturing technologies and IPC standards.
• Experience with DFM, PFMEA, SPC and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electronic manufacturing systems for PCBAs.
• Lead technology, equipment, and process development to manufacture PCBAs.
• Analyze KPIs to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and quality.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Manage and develop direct reports.
