Job summary

Johnson Outdoors Marine Electronics, Inc. is seeking a PC Board Assembly Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the design and implementation of electronic manufacturing systems for PCB assemblies.

You will oversee technology, equipment, and processes to optimize paste printing, surface mount, reflow, selective/wave soldering, through-hole insertion, and IPC standards. Role involves driving continuous improvement using DFM, PFMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean methods; managing KPIs, reducing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Five years of progressive experience in electronic manufacturing systems.
• Experience overseeing technology, equipment, and processes to manufacture PCBAs.
• Experience using DFM, PFMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electronic manufacturing systems for PCBAs.
• Oversee development of technology, equipment, and processes to manufacture PCBAs.
• Analyze KPI data to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
