Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support heavy assembly production initiatives and optimize processes across the plant floor.

The role requires hands-on analysis of assembly workflows, development of work instructions, and ongoing CI projects to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for fixture design and plant layout is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BS Eng required); assembly process focus preferred, but all manufacturing disciplines considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering initiatives within a heavy assembly production environment
• Analyze assembly processes and develop comprehensive work instructions to ensure operational consistency
• Drive process optimization efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across manufacturing operations
• Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold quality and safety standards
• Lead and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to advance operational performance
• Enter and manage routers within the JD Edwards ERP system to maintain accurate production data
• Oversee and manage all Process Flow FMEAs to identify and mitigate potential failure modes
• Handle quoting activities to support business development and customer engagement
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design fixtures and develop plant layout configurations
