Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Five years as a payroll manager in a similarly sized organization.
• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).
• Experience in a public-sector/union environment with collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily payroll operations and timekeeping for the Police Department.
• Supervise payroll staff and ensure confidential handling of records.
• Oversee wage calculations, deductions, retroactive pay, and leave administration.
• Analyze HRIS data for audits, budget development, and reporting.
