Mid-States Distributing is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Accountant in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on payroll processing, benefits administration, and tax compliance, collaborating with HR and finance to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.

The position emphasizes detailed financial close, FP&A support, and partnering with company functions to optimize payroll operations and employee benefits. A 4-year degree is required.

Qualifications

• College Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

Responsabilités

• Monthly financial close responsibilities.
• FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting.
• Business partner to select corporate functions/teams.
• Manage periodic tax submissions to State and Local authorities.
• End-to-end payroll processing with data entry, calculation, and audit of wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
