Job summary

Edward Jones seeks a Senior Payroll Compliance Analyst to lead complex U.S. and Canadian payroll tax research, regulatory interpretation, and advisory services.

The role partners with Payroll, Finance, HR, Risk Management, and senior leadership to drive compliant, efficient payroll operations. As part of a broader transformation, you will support the transition to a new payroll system over the next two years, update documentation, and ensure platform performance during implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of payroll experience with tax, compliance, data analysis, and process improvement.
• FPC or CPP preferred, CPA optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead US and Canadian payroll tax research and advisory for multiple states/provinces.
• Drive automation, data strategy, and process improvements in payroll compliance.
• Present risk-based recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain payroll tax controls and address gaps with internal audit and finance.
