Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Payroll Analyst to analyze, audit, reconcile, and resolve complex payroll issues ensuring compliance with company policy and IRS regulations. You will support payroll processing and respond to inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include loading pay requests, researching discrepancies, generating reports, and collaborating with payroll, HR, and finance teams to meet SLAs and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of payroll experience in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with payroll audits, controls and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Load, validate, and track supplemental pay requests with approvals.
• Analyze payroll discrepancies and perform research to resolve issues.
• Provide sector POC support for payroll processing and issue resolution.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers within SLAs.
• Create/run ad hoc queries for reporting and research.
• Review audit findings and document actions/outcomes.
• Write test scripts and support system enhancements.
• Calculate and resolve special processing needs in line with policy.
