Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. in San Francisco seeks a Supply Chain Manager for Payload/GNC/Electro-mechanical to lead procurement of strategic flight hardware, build supplier relationships, and optimize cost, lead time, and performance.

You will own end-to-end sourcing, negotiate contracts, manage NDAs, SOWs and Master Purchase Agreements, and collaborate with design, engineering, finance, program management, and production. Domestic and international travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or related supply chain disciplines.
• Experience negotiating high-value hardware contracts.
• Excellent communication and track record of managing strategic external relationships.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams and executive reporting.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple contracts and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manages all stages of procurement for strategic flight hardware from vendor evaluation to post-launch support.
• Oversees sourcing strategy for electro-mechanical products across payload, antenna, mechanical and GNC assemblies.
• Lead commercial negotiations and finalize vendor contracts; manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
• Lead NDAs, SOWs, Supply Agreements and Master Purchase Agreements and other commercial contracts before business is initiated.
• Develop sourcing strategies and partnerships with strategic vendors.
• Place purchase orders for medium to high value components.
• Evaluate suppliers based on cost, performance and long-term value.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, finance, program management and production.
• Travel domestically and internationally (~15-20%).
