Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Advisor to lead payer contracting and strategic accounts for our Specialty Pharmacy group. You will build a national payer network, identify and own strategic relationships with commercial payers, PBMs, and Medicare/Medicaid, and negotiate agreements to drive growth and access.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in specialty payer contracting, proven executive communication skills, and a track record of delivering measurable business development and contract

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8+ years of specialty payer contracting, PBM payer relations, or healthcare account management.
• Proven track record developing strategic payer relationships and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute payer contracting strategy for specialty pharmacy.
• Identify and own strategic payer relationships (commercial payers, PBMs, Medicare/Medicaid).
• Lead negotiations and agreements to support business growth and network expansion.
• Own payer contracting pipeline and performance against goals.
• Serve as relationship owner for key payer accounts and conduct regular reviews.
