Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager, Contract Development – Payer Contract Writer to join the US Value and Access (USV&A) team. You will draft and process payer contracts, develop rebate agreements, amendments, and other documents for strategic accounts, and manage contract data in the CLM system.

The role involves coordinating with the Payer Contract Relations team, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting audits and renewals across Amgen products.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent level of education in related field.
• Experience in contract development or contract writing.
• Pharma or biotech experience preferred.
• Strong MS Word skills and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracting strategy and execution for national payer accounts.
• Own the contract document lifecycle across multiple workstreams.
• Draft term sheets, amendments, and related language to support negotiations.
• Coordinate with CLM system team to improve processes.
• Produce contract documentation for audits and litigation.
