Butler Machinery seeks a motivated Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR) to join our team in Bismarck, ND. You will promote our parts and service offerings, assist sales representatives with presentations, and drive account development within your territory.

Responsibilities include identifying new large-scale customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, and ensuring exceptional service and support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service and parts experience required.
• 1+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Advanced computer skills with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to think strategically, build relationships, negotiate and present ideas.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and be able to travel as needed.
• Willingness to work extra hours on short notice and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist salesmen with customer presentations.
• Relay parts and service opportunities to Aftermarket Sales Manager and track progress.
• Market and sell CAT parts and service value.
• Identify new markets and customers within the territory.
• Perform equipment inspections and warranty checks.
• Develop knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
• Provide input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Service Managers on goals.
• Align with company mission and values.
• Other duties as assigned.
