Job summary

McCandless International is seeking a Parts Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing across the McCandless Truck Center network. You will manage supplier relationships, optimize inventory, and execute purchasing processes to maintain strong fill rates and profitability.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience in purchasing or supply chain. Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power BI is preferred to analyze data and drive cost savings.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and Power BI.
• Able to work across multiple departments and branches.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain supplier relationships to support a reliable supply chain.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize excess stock.
• Place and manage purchase orders based on demand and branch needs.
• Resolve PO discrepancies and vendor delays; monitor performance.
• Support cross-department collaboration to ensure parts availability.
